An FBI background check is a federal document that must be apostilled by the U.S. Department of State (USDOS) in Washington, D.C. We assist individuals, recruitment agencies, law firms and document authentication brokers in the United States and around the world to secure the Apostille of the FBI Background Check needed to obtain a visa in a foreign country (Portugal, Spain, Costa Rica, Israel, Panama, etc.) We expedite the process by personally hand-carrying the document to the USDOS here in Washington, D.C. This document can be apostilled as an original (hard copy) or a printed PDF file received from the FBI or one of the channelers. We can print out your PDF file on the secure FBI printing paper. When the document is ready, we will ship it anywhere in the world.
The U.S. Department of State (USDOS) is taking several weeks to apostille the original FBI background check. We also have the option of having a COPY of the FBI report notarized as a true copy and then have it apostille in the District of Columbia. Since this document is going to be used overseas the client needs to find out if the notarized copy will meet the legal requirements in that country. For the apostille of a notarized copy in the District of Columbia the turnaround time is only 3 business days and the cost is US$ 80 per document.
Some countries (Egypt, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, etc.) require the FBI background check to be Authenticated by the USDOS and then certified by its embassy in Washington D.C. The authentication process is the same as the apostille. However, since it has to be legalized by the embassy of the country where it will be used, additional processing time and fees will apply. For additional embassies information regarding turnaround time, embassies fees or any other requirement please contact us at info@rocadc.com.
Due to the coronavirus some U.S. government offices and foreign embassies located in Washington D.C. (WDC) have temporarily closed their office for walk in services. Their authentication services can only be done by mail. As the U.S. Department of State apostille or authentication process may take weeks to complete, the embassy of Panama is providing, by appointment, a rush certification for any U.S. Federal document that will be used in Panama. This includes FBI report, petition of name change, certificate of naturalization, Social Security, etc. Estimated turnaround time is 5+ business days. Price US$100.00 per document ($30 Embassy Fee + $70 service fee)
Your original FBI Background Check or electronic copy. Please Note: If your scanned FBI report states “void”, we will need the hard copy sent to our corporate address.
A total payment of US$75 per document. Payment may also be made using a credit card on the payment page of this website.
